Barbra sang there for several day’s. you dont’ know if you were at that particular performance.

Maybe your bias is towards 20 year old singers, don’t know.
All I do know is in the last 10 years or so there is a depth in Barbra’s voice which she did not have while in her 20′s and 30′s. Perhaps it is simply the maturity of a soul which only living many years can bring. It is definitely there, and I like the richness it brings to her vocals.
As the saying goes, some things only come with age. Life experiences/maturity is one of them.
Watching this brings back the song in the concert so clearly… I was at the Boston performance on October 23rd… simply incredible!!! There are absolutely no words to describe the emotion of seeing her live, after being one of her BIGGEST fans since 1974… I am so grateful to have finally seen her live. My friend and I drove from Halifax Nova Scotia. She is in no uncertain terms, THE BEST… Love you, Barbra.

Excellent video. I’ve been listening to Barbra’s music since the ’60′s. To me, her voice now has a depth and richness she did not possess when she was a mere child in her 20′s and 30′s. Experience and maturity bring a richness to songs which simple youthful vocals cannot.
When listening to these Youtube videos remember the sound quality is definitely lacking. I’m sure hearing Barbra in person was a grand and rare treat — wish I could have been there.
To me there is no bla bla bla on how Babs sings now compared to how she sang in the past. Who cares, really since she is still very very good. Just wondering…Where do you think Il Divo will be in 40something years?

Of course her voice isn’t exactly the same but SO WHAT. There is still amazing mind boggling magic in it; and I hope to hear her many more times. There is NO VOICE like hers. It goes right thru to your soul.
