I live in South Africa, then visit a friend in America, and you want to download photos from my Cybershot on his Dell computer. It was not my program installed on his computer Cybershot.

Buy a card reader. You can in most places that sell digital cameras to be found. You insert your memory card into the card reader to plug it into a USB port on your computer. This is your photos! You can do this on your own computer, at home, and it is much better because it does not by batteries. Card costs only about $ 10.
