Actually that’s exactly the notes I’m hitting. I’m only playing them at a different place. Except for the C# on the D string. He doesn’t go for that one and doesn’t vary. Maybe live he does but on the original he only hits some of the notes higher than others, but always the same one.

the way your coming in and out with those subtle intro and verse chords is pretty spot on dude… except for the fact that your missing some key high notes. I know Einziger does variations of the chord throughout the song, but for the intro, try out this as your central chord:
