This is my 20 gallon seahorse reef tank. The footage was shot on my Sony Cybershot still camera in film mode.

is it hard to keep sea horses?

Hi, these are not dwarfs but 20 gallons will support 4-6 of them as adults. I could probably add more and it would still be fine but this balance is good.

what type of seahorses? dwarf? will the 20 sustain them for their whole life?

I’m really not sure what it was however it was the standard Nano Cube 20 gallon pump built into the tank. It should be listed on their website. One of the biggest things I learned with seahorses was that I should have had less solid pieces of live rock and more branchy pieces for them to grab onto. They like free space with “branches” of rock, coral or plant life to wrap their tails around.
