Actually It had 10x optical zoom, 10x digital zoom (In some settings) and and additional 5x (I think) in telephoto mode. Also it has some other neat features like the auto ISO (I’ve had it up to 6400), three shot picture burst with .7 or .3 second intervals in sports mode. the ability to attach other lenses and filters. Down side… the battery I bought a generic Li tho for about $50.00 CDN. and the lack of the eye piece.
a quality pictures isnt all about megapixal. you can have a 5 mp camera and it takes better picture then a 10mp camera. its all about the image sensors, and the lens.
I love my Sony H10. It’s an amazing piece of work. My first camera was a Kodak. Rubbish. My second one was a Pentax. All my photo’s came out yellow (the white balance couldn’t be “fixed”) and I gave it away because I got tired to edit every single photo in Photoshop. My third camera, a Canon took nice photos but my grandchld dropped it and it broke. Couln’t be fixed as it’s not in the market any longer. This one is a dream come true.

The camera is a hybrid between regular point and shoot and professional DSLR. Hence the higher price people.

How much did u pay?, only reason why i don’t realy like sony, because most of their products didn’t work with the computer i had..well but enjoy the camera, and post a review would like to know how it is
