Yes recording is limited to 10 minutes regardless of resolution (this is because international laws require a higher tax rate for cameras that can record for more than 10 minutes at a resolution for 640*480 or higher), and the battery you can get for cheaper if you search on the internet (the product code for the battery is NP-BD1 or NP-FD1, both are the same). Probablly because of the large touchscreen. I’ll buy an extra battery, it is quite expensive though. So there is a 10 minutes limitation for an HD recording. Am I right?

Thanks, yes I do recommend the T500 it is just all around an awesome camera.
Just make sure that you buy an extra battery pack for the camera, it tends to use a little more energy than other cameras. On average you get 45-50 Mins of video recording in 720 fine mode and 125-175 photos per battery.

Congratis on getting your camera, and don’t worry about asking too many questions. To turn off the flash just press on the lightning bolt icon on the main camera screen (the screen were you can see what the camera sees) and then press the lightning bolt icon with the circle around it and a line through it. Hope this helps!
Oh hey man sorry to ask so many questions but mine just arrived =D and i can’t find were you turn flash off and on because it is too strong it’s making my pics realy white for close ups so how do i turn flash off/on ?
P.S. The location were all the video files are located is My Computer -) Removable Disc -) MP_ROOT -) 101ANV01 -) there should be just 2 files for every video that you record (.mp4 and .THM) so for example MAH 07021.mp4 and MAH 07021.THM. All that you need to copy to your computer is the .MP4 Hope this helps!
or you can remove the memory stick pro duo and insert it into you computer’s memory card reader (if you have one). Note however that if your computer only has the memory stick (the bigger card type) reader and not a memory stick pro dur (the small ones that go into the camera) that you will need to get an adapter from the sony website, ebay etc. I hope this helps, let me know
I am not sure why this problem with the videos happens, I have not had that problem (yet). as far as the USB goes, you can either use the docking station for the camera (pictured in the video at 1:55 & how to use it at 4:00)
Thank’s for your reply Alex can i just ask 2 more thinsg about this camera. Some people i see on videos are asking for help with the videos they upload because they are uploaded in 4 sections as if it was a ground of pictures, why is this and is it easy to sort out ?
also 1 more thing how do you connect it to a usb without the usb thing someone siad it was a standing doc but what is a standing doc ?
