Guys, advice on editing videos on this camera. I have one of these cameras and at first I had trouble editing my videos, but I downloaded this program called format factory. This can change the format of the videos that you record.
im wondering what video editing software u use? i got premire pro cs4 but when i import from my t90 it lags, but not on other 720p video so its not my computer being slow
just another quick note for you to keep in mind.
When buying a camera, the most important thing is that you want to get a camera that has the most compatible footage for all editing suites.
I went to the Adobe PremierePro forums and a lot of people are having problems editing footage from all these new consumer cameras because of the type of footage they record. Just to give you an FYI.
Later!
it’s still a good review, it’s just that I wanted to share my opinion on that take. If you want to get a video cam, I recommend the canon HV20. I have a Panasonic HVX200A and I love it more than my wife! lol…, But before you buy find out what editing program you want to use first and then check out the forums to see what kind of problems people are having between editing software and footage.
I recommend VEGAS for editing. Unless you have a mac then it would be “Final Cut”
I agree with you 100%. I might be buying a JVC HD camcorder because I am doing a lot of video stuff now. I originally bought this camera to take high quality pictures as well as great videos.
about your review. not to let you down and give you the opposite side of it but in reality this is a picture camera.
I know the video option is there, but the way I see it, it’s just an additional feature to sell more of the product. stay competitive, it’s main purpose is…
to take still pictures. For that reason I have an additional video camera just for video. Because I can’t really count on a picture camera to do the work and have all the features that a real video camera can do.
oh yeah and 1 more question, what setting did you use to record this (if you remember) 720p or 720p fine? because if you look at the video sample from joefileman it looks really good!
Excellent review! I was just going to buy one at best buy for a long trip and I was wondering about the battery too. Thanx to your review, it answered all my questions. Helped me alot. Keep up the good work. Thanx!

Did you upload this entire clip directly from the camera or did you put it in an editing program and then uploaded?
