@canoeshoe I think you can go up to 32GB. It is more the file size that limits video length rather than the memory card capacity.
whats the max memory size card u can put in there? theres no time limit to the video u can take right?
choose the wx1 over the tx1 of course! the wx1 has more zoom and wider lens. a telescoping lens is always better than a passive one.

HD movies, 24mm wide angle, F=2.4, G-lense + panorama and exmor sensor works wery wery fast. Panorama work so good u will want to use it all the time,

Out of the two, the TX1, due to the lens not moving and the video sound is meant to be better.

Yes, if you watch my second movie it shows the sound that is recorded from the lens mechanism when you zoom in and out.
Can you zoom in while in movie mode?

WTF ? I thought it only filmed 720p HD ?
It was either this or the DSC-W290 for me but I’m not happy with the design for such an expensive camera.
I’ve heard the battery cover is really flimsy and loose and can open with very little movement of the thumb at the base.
And the CMOS sensor isn’t as good as what they claimed it would be.
Most likely I’ll wait to see what Sony releases at CES 2010 and CEDIA to see if they make the lcd screen back upto 3.0″ and fix the kinks.
But great review. Sony makes good cybershots!
