If you are considering the Sony HX-1 or Canon SX1 IS, you should also consider the Casio EX-F1 because it has a focus ring around the lens, a external mic jack, a hot shoe, a threaded lens for UV filters, and slow motion (if you want a fun bonus). Hard to believe it’s from Casio. The problem is the price.
what is the best one among the hx1 and canon sx1? is any body tell……… i have to buy one of them.plez

can someone tell me how long of a video can you take in one clip? my h5 is only limited by the memory card…but the h50 can only take short clips

if the HX1 has less jelly effect in movies, take it over the SX1

$100 cheaper too. I’ve seen on several sites that it offers 3 recording formats. 640×480, 1280×720, and 1440×1080.
